One wedding a day, indoors or out, for up to 140 seated. Ceremony at the west end of the barn, drinks in the courtyard, dinner under the oak frame, and a dance floor that goes until midnight.

Oxfordshire County Council licenses three of our spaces for civil ceremonies and partnerships, so you can marry here and stay put. You book the registrar directly with the council once your date is held with us, and you must do it at least a year ahead for a summer Saturday.
Ceremonies usually run at 1pm or 2pm. Anything earlier and the day feels long; anything later and the photographs get squeezed.

Drinks outside, dinner inside, dancing in between.
The courtyard takes the whole party for drinks and canapes, with a covered loggia down one side for when it rains, which in Oxfordshire it does. Dinner is served in the barn on long oak tables or rounds, whichever you prefer. We store both.
At about nine the tables at the east end come out and the floor opens up. It takes our team roughly twenty minutes and most people are outside by the fire pit while it happens.

What fits where.
Seated figures allow for a top table and a dance floor. If you are over 120 for dinner we will talk you through the layout at your viewing, because the last two rows matter.

What you are not paying extra for.
Everything on this list is part of venue hire. We would rather quote one honest number than a small one with a page of asterisks under it.

- A venue coordinator here for the whole day
- Full commercial kitchen for your caterer
- Parking for 60 cars, stewarded on arrival

- Heating, so the barn works in February
- Fire pit, logs and lawn games
- Setup access from 9am on the day
- Collection of your things by noon the next day
Not included: catering and drink, the registrar's fee, flowers, a band or DJ, and a photographer. We will happily point you at people we trust for all of it, and we take no commission from any of them.

Doors open
Florists, caterers and the cake arrive. You can be here too, and most couples are, at least for an hour.

Guests arrive
Parking is stewarded. Guests come through the courtyard, which is where the first drink happens if the ceremony is at two.

Ceremony
About thirty minutes with readings. Confetti in the doorway afterwards, which is the picture everyone wants.

Drinks and photographs
Courtyard and orchard. Lawn games come out of the cart shed if the weather is behaving.

Dinner and speeches
Long tables under the frame. Speeches before pudding, in our experience, are speeches people enjoy.

Dancing
Floor opens, evening guests arrive, fire pit lit. Music off at midnight, carriages by half past.
